| Project Description: |
| To establish a research and education program with the goal of developing and delivering technologies to reduce consumption of feed and forage by improving feed conversion efficiency in beef cattle. Feed and forage efficiency improvement will increase ranch profit through reduced input costs and reduce potential environment disruption through reduced animal waste production. This project will integrate animal, forage, and environmental sciences. |
