Project Description:
The City of Pembroke Pines coordinates and administers an After School Tutorial Program, which provides education, homework assistance, computer training and counseling to children 25% below education level. The Program also provides actives to children and their families, which includes self-esteem building, crime safety and health prevention, youth entrepreneurial projects and mentorship programs. In need of financial assistance to provide these services (cover tuition) to children of low- income families and to expand programs to children in charter schools.
