Project Description:
NPF would like to continue the work that we were accomplishing, with support from the Dept. of Health, to improve access to informed care for persons with Parkinson disease by developing specialized exercise classes, training programs, and support groups for persons with Parkinson disease and their families in ten locations and by providing respite care for senior caregivers in four locations.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Increase number of enrollees participating in support groups, training programs, exercise classes, respite care and related quality of life initiatives. Increase the number of classes, groups and programs as well. These services contribute to reduced or delayed nursing home placement by supporting families to care for loved ones at home.
