This project proposes a regional approach to water and wastewater services. It will provide for a city-county, coordinated approach for the installation of critical water and wastewater infrastrure including the collection, treatment, and disposal of wastewater. The project will decrase the need for septic tanks and provide for the phase-out existing septic tanks and additional water lines to areas that are not currently serviced. This project will protect the water and public health of the Gadsden County residents and adjacent waters. This project is in a Rural Area of Critical Economic Concern.

Project Description:
This project will provide the funding for a countrywide plan and design which will lead to a regional approach to water and wastewater services. It will provide for a city-county, coordinated approach for the installation of critical water and wastewater infrastructure including the collection, treatment, and disposal of wastewater.
