Statewide Interest:
Taylor county has the longest contiguous coast on the Gulf and has a desperate need for public access. Steinhatchee is very congest on weekends with local citizens and visitors trying to gain access to our coastal waters. Public access is critical economically to the county to develop the tourism trade.
