Project Description:
The Pediatric Care project will establish a 2-medical provider primary care practice for children aged 0-14 living in and around the City of Cape Coral. The Ultrasound project will allow Family Health Centers to perform in-house ultrasound assessments as part of providing more effective and accurate prenatal care to more than 1500 pregnant mothers.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The Pediatric Care project will result in an estimated 3000 new pediatric patients receiving primary care during a projected 9000 office visits each year. The is will help meet the growing need to care for the 27,091 children under age 15 living in Cape Coral, 3001 of whom live in households earning less than poverty level incomes. The Ultrasound project will result in an estimated 1500 women receiving improved diagnostic care during their pregnancies.
