There are 9 state-designated Children's Cancer/Hematology Centers in Florida. LMHS provides this special service throughout southwest Florida through the Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida. This program is linked to national clinical protocols for children with cancer and blood disorders. The program utilizes cutting edge technology for the care and treatment of children diagnosed with cancer or hematology related diseases.

Project Description:
The center provides evaluation, treatment, and couseling for children affected with cancer or hematological disorders. State funding will provide training, administration, and research for the clinic.
