Project Description:
The City of West Miami in cooperation with the Florida Legislature and the South Florida Water Management District has secured funding for projects to eliminate re-curring flooding. In concert with the construction and operation of the Miami-Dade County western retention basins, these projects will provide the citizens of this region with the approriate level of service for flood protection. This years funding will support construction on the City's Phase 3A stormwater system. This phase will serve the balance of the western portion of the City, and will be tied to the Phase 1 and 2 systems currently under construction..
