| Project Description: |
| There is no facility like the YMCA on Marco Island. It is the most significant health and wellness provider in the East Naples area. The new expanded facility will serve more, reach out further, and provide additional health promoting programs for the community at large. The expansion is an additional 34,000 sq. ft. This includes a full size gymnasium to be used by the Charter Middle School, an expanded child care center, a track, a senior/teen activity center, and a larger health fitness room. |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| The Marco Island YMCA is a facility in which the community depends upon to provide recreational and educational programs in a safe environment; however the facility has reached its capacity. A new facility will allow for increased participation throughout Marco Island and surrounding communities. Currently, the Marco YMCA serves 5,000 particpants. With the new facility the Marco YMCA will be able to serve an additional 16,000 participants.
