| Project Description: |
| Project involves the reconstruction of Fire Station 11, located at 3264 NE 3rd Street. This station was built in 1957, has been rapidly deteriorating, and has become too small for currently used equipment. The roof, the air conditioning and electrical systems are all in dire need of repair. The Fire station is the only one located on the City's barrier island and has the capability to quickly respond to emergencies without being inhibited by draw bridges. Total cost of the project is estimated at $1.4 million. |
