Project Description:
Spray approximately 125000 storm drains per year to control mosquito breeding. Eight employees using right hand drive vehicles equipped with 50 gallon capacity sprayers will apply liquid insecticide into the storm drains breeding mosquitos. Each treatment will provide control approximately 21 days. Using contracted aircraft and a County owned helicopter aerial spray one million acres to control mosquitos that originate primarily from the Everglades National Park System.
