| Project Description: |
| Here's Help Capacity Expansion Project is a regional residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment initiative offering evidence-based individual, group and family counseling; job training and job placement; mental health services; full-time accredited schooling; and relapse prevention for more than 1,000 adolescents and young adults annually, ages 13 and older. |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| Statistics indicate that more than 25% of arrented youth in South Florida test positive for drug use at the time of their incarceration. The prosed interventions will specifically target a reduction in arrest making South Florida a safer place to live, raise a family and conduct business. Rehabilitting 60 to 90 former substance-abusing adolescents and young adults will accomplish this, helping them become productive members of their communities with jobs, counseling and a continuum of care supporting the attainment of their long-term goals. |
