Project Description: |
Dale Mabry Highway is a major urban roadway originally constructed to its current configuration to serve MacDill, AFB. Completed in 1962, it has grown to be a major hurricane evacuation route as well as a major thoroughfare for the regional economy. The roadway currently floods 2 to 5 times a year creating unsafe conditions for regional motorists and local residents who may need emergency services. |
