Project Description:
This project involves the recovery of Perrine Park, a recreational facility of regional significance damaged by Hurricane Katrina, Tropical Storm Rita and Hurricane Wilma, consecutively. Other activities include the conversion of the existing 5.6 acre facility into a 25+ acre sports and recreational complex in order to expand recreational opportunities in the southeast region of South Dade. Additionally, the project will enhance ADA access to meet the needs of all park users.
