| Project Description: |
| To provide a secured 24 hour safe haven and residential facility for girls who have encountered sexual and/or physical abuse, parental abandonment, drug addiction or who are under the jurisdiction of the State; additional services include: Alternative to Suspension services for girls who are serving outdoor school suspension from Miami-Dade County Public Schools; provide linkage to employment through academic, occupational and service-learning for female High Schools Drop-outs; and provide After-School Prevention and Retention Services to stay in school for at-risk girls in Miami-Dade County. |

| The end outcome for World Literacy Crusade and Mama Hattie's House is the reduction of female juvenile offender recidivism, strong and healthy girls who are able to make a positive contribution to the community and humanity. This outcome is measured through statistical analysis and is benchmarked by local and national trends. |
