Statewide Interest:
Public Health, safety and welfare will be sustained by expanding and drought proofing a surface water treatment plant using new technology coupled with integrated alternative and existing water supplies. Regulatory agencies such as SFWMD, Army Corps of Engineers, Lee County will positively impacted by having no expectations to maintain a consistent fresh water supply that is driven by the Olga Water Treatment Plant.

Project Description:
Expansion of alternative and existing water resources and treatment technologies to mitigate drought impacts to State regulatory agencies (SFWMD, Army Corps of Engineers and Lee County) and utility customers.
