Provide needed right-of-way for transportation capacity adopted level-of-service for the only City of North Port east / west arterial roadway. Price Boulevard parallels I-75 through the City. The road�s easterly terminus is near the Charlotte County boundary and intersects with two arterial roads / hurricane evacuation routes in the City of North Port.

Project entails acquisition of right-of-way needed to widen Price Boulevard within the City limits.

Minimizing acquisition cost by purchasing undeveloped property and voluntary acquisition of developed property at the time it is placed on the market (by willing sellers). : Improved access and hurricane evacuation to I-75 for southwestern Sarasota County and northwestern Charlotte County, which are populated at approximately 30% - 40% of permitted densities
