| In compliance with the Homeland Security presidential Directive/HSPD-8, The City of Boynton Beach must acquire the necessary equipment for �all hazardous preparedness� i.e. Domestic terrorists, major disasters and other emergencies. Our first responders must have the tools necessary to provide immediate support services during prevention, response and recovery operations. The city of Boynton Beach leaders and staff have completed NIMS training and have plans in place, however we still lack the necessary resources to maximize our ability to prevent, respond to and recover form major events. This mobile incident command c enter will enable Boynton Beach to sustain a presence and provide interoperability with other agencies to immediately and effectively respond to all hazards. |
