| This project will provide juveniles with an athletic activity to participate in after school. Additional programs, such as the Barcelona Soccer Academy, are needed to deter juveniles from a life of crime, and to occupy their time with positive activities. The Barcelona Soccer Academy gives juveniles an opportunity to increase their self esteem while providing them with a program to expend their energy in a healthy manner. |

| Project Description: |
| The Barcelona Soccer Academy will provide a soccer league for children (ages 4-16) to learn several life skills including teamwork, self control, and responsibility. Participants are required to maintain above average grades in school in order to participate. Certified soccer coaches will conduct practices and oversee tournaments weekly for a two month period. Children from Orange and Osceola Counties will be eligible to participate in the Barcelona Soccer Academy. With the funds for this project, all eligible children (regardless of income) will have an opportunity to better themselves through this soccer league. |
