The proposed project is a continuation of the City's ongoing stormwater/wastewater system improvements and emergency preparedness capabilities. The City's radio system which serves to regulate and control the SCADA and emergency communication capabilities is dysfunctional and must be replaced. Failure of the SCADA/Stormwater system has the potential to impact 40,000+/- households and thousands of businesses in Broward County as well as the environment.
