| This is a request for a state appropriation for the Miami-Dade County Courts Survey and Barrier Removal Program to make the county court facilities accessible to people with disabilities. Its intended purpose is to make the court system open and accessible to all so that it respects the dignity of every person, includes judges and court staff that reflect the community�s diversity, and responds to all members of society, regardless of ability or disability. It is being carried out pursuant to Administrative Order SC0644, issued in 2006 by Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice R. Fred Lewis, and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. |
