| Statewide Interest: |
| The development of a statewide trauma system. Funding will assist by providing the ten-county (Service Area 3) with a trauma center, the closest of which for this population is at least a two hour drive. Funding will also assist with purchasing infrastructure throughout the Service Area to treat, stablize and transport trauma victims quickly to the trauma center within the Golden Hour. This will result in the reduction of high trauma mortality levels in Service Area 3. |
