Project Description:
Purchase of Old Records Center will provide additional recreational, cultural and natural history opportunties in conjunction with Florida's Prime Meridian Marker and Cascades Park. The Old Record Center has been included on the Department of Management Services' Tallahassee Pool Facilities Plan as a preliminary surplus candidate - listed as a priority 2. The Old Records Center space is needed for the public area around Florida's Prime Meridian Marker.
