The completion of this project will serve a statewide interest, produce measurable results, and fulfill a documented need as follows: 1. It will improve pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular safety on a road that serves as a major artery through Orange County, 2. The project will produce measurable results through the improvement of traffic flow, vehicular travel, repair and replacement of an aging infrastructure, burial of power/utility lines, improvement of pedestrian facilities and the beatification of the area. 3. the project will fulfill a documented need for the improvement to this major state road as documented by the Florida Department of Transportation.

Project Description:
This project will provide major improvements along State Road 426, including: the undergrounding of utility lines, engineering, landscaping, and improvements to pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular safety. This project will be completed in conjunction with the reconstruction and resurfacing by FDOT in order to realize maximum efficiency and purchasing power.
