| Maintain the existing funds for the 3 statewide poison centers in order to keep salary equity between Poison Specialist (SPI) and area nurses. Poison Specialists are the reason poison centers are so cost effective. To continue providing the highest quality of care by keeping trained specialist to answer the 24/7 1-800-222-1222. This number can assist in any poison emergency as well as questions about poisons or potential poisons. |
