Project Title: Foreclosure Prevention Project Date Submitted 1/3/2008 3:14:14 PM

Sponsors: Ring

Statewide Interest:
Predatory lending and the fallout of the subprime loan market have led to a foreclosure crisis in the nation with thousands of homeowners losing their most valuable asset each month. Florida ranks 3rd in the nation in the number of foreclosures which are projected to increase as more loans adjust to higher rates and property values remain stagnant. The American Institute for Social Justice has been counseling homeowners about foreclosure prevention and saving homes through negotiations for the past decade.
