| Project Description: |
| Florida Southern College requests necessary funding to support its new four-year undergraduate nursing program, the only program of its type in Polk County, in addition to is RN-to-BSN and MS in Nursing degrees. The total cost to launch the undergraduate program is approximately $6 million. Since this program is ineligible to receive any funding from the SUCCEED Florida program until we graduate our first two classes from the program (2011), Florida Southern respectfully requests $1.5 million for program support for nursing instruction and laboratory equipment. |
