Project Description: |
This funding would allow for additional instructors to be employed at Barry University to teach students with degrees who may want to return to school to earn a nursing degree on an accelerated schedule. With the amount requested, Barry will be able to recruit 35 RNs and fast-track them bachelors degrees, with 20 then moving into masters level programs. Nursing programs are facing critical shortages of PhD-level educators; this program is intended to move Associate-degree holders that are highly qualified into graduate programs, with those that are at the top of their class, into PhDs. |
