Development of this open space brings recreational opportunities to the residents and businesses in a thriving mixed use urban neighborhood just north of the downtown business district. This park is also on a public transportation route and is accessible by public busses. This project will also promote the preservation of native plants in an urban setting.

Project Description:
Planned development of this urban park includes playground equipment and surfacing, a walking trail, a picnic pavilion and an interactive water play fountain area, along with signage, landscaping, security lighting, parking and park furnishings (trash receptacles, picnic tables, benches, etc.). Community events, picnicking and playground opportunities will be created.
