| Provides the first single location, comprehensive acute crisis assessment system in the State of Florida. The Central Receiving Center (CRC) accepts crisis mental health and substance abuse consumers in need of acute care services. Individuals experiencing a crisis due to mental health and/or substance abuse disorders who come into contact with law enforcement are brought to the CRC. This negates the need for law enforcement to consider multiple locations or jail. |
