YES! of America United is a non-profit agency that develops programs for persons living with disabilities in the State of Florida. YES! has advocated for persons living with disabilities throughout the State of Florida and is represented by munerous partnerships and members who span many regions of the State. YES! programming is provided on a cross-disabilities basis to all Florida residents no matter what their specific disability. There is a statewide need for this type of unique programming. This is why YES! continues to increase its outreach and is working to provide programming in more underserved areas of Florida.

Project Description:
YES! provides training and opportunities for persons living with disabilities through its advocacy, life skills, outreach, education, volunteer and computer training programs that teach individuals how to become independent advocates, community volunteers, socially active members of society and educated participants in the technology superhighway. YES! programs enrich, educate and empower persons living with disabilities to live a full and engaging life.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Persons living with disabilities will learn esential life and socialization skills, they will become effective advocaters on behalf of themselves in seeking accomodations for their respective disabilities and they will engage in volunteering, outreach and educational activities.
