| Project Description: |
| The City of North Miami Beach is home to Taylor Park wchich is located at 15450 West Dixie Highway. The City has recently discovered that prior to being deeded to the City by Miami-Dade County, Taylor Park was used as a garbage dump which has resulted in some environmental issues being raised regarding above-standard levels of subsurface iron on the property. Following an environmental assessment of the entire property, the City confirmed significant amounts of subsurface household waste throughout the property which must be remediated in order to re-open the facility for public use. |
