A Program of the Latin Chamber of Commerce to promote, foster and facilitate independent Latin minority film,media production, post-production activities in the State of Florida. |

Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
To establish the State of Florida as the hub and gateway for the Latin/Minority Independent Film and Entertainment Industry; to promote the Latin Entertainment Industry Cluster (the industry�s multiplier effect which enables the development of off-shoot businesses, and development of an economic cluster to generate jobs and revenues in the State of Florida; to promote Latin/minority film and entertainment production and post production activities; to develop mechanisms that will further opportunities for Latin, minority independent projects and talent; to promote Latin/Minority film production in the State of Florida; to utilize CAMACOL�s international network through its Hemispheric Congress to establish linkages with the international business communities that will further private sector support for this industry and foster production and post production activities in our state; to provide support and facilitation to independent productions; to establish linkages between production companies, financial institutions, corporations, to establish a film market for Latin/minority films and productions; establish linkages that will enable the creation of the Florida Independent Latin Minority Film and Entertainment Market (unlike a film festival a film market is where production and distribution deals are closed) a program of CAMACOL. |
