Project Description:
In recent years hurricanes have decimated the tree canopy on the roadways of Miami Shores Village. Budgetary constraints have prevented the Village from replacing many of the damaged trees. Trees that have been replaced have been done with small saplings which will take many years to grow into viable roadway trees which will provide the pollution and storm water absorption that has been in affect for many years, The funding of this project will allow Miami Shores Village to replace trees that have been removed or are dead with large canopy trees that are hurricane resistant and will provide tree benefits to the environment.
