| Project Description: |
| The purpose is to install a generator that has already been purchased by the state of Florida, however funds for construction and installation costs were not available. The Generator is in storage by the Division of Emergency Management and the estimated construction cost for the installation is $1,200,000. The Generator was engineered for Quest Elementary School to be used in it's secondary role as a special needs shelter. The need is documented, the generator and automatic transfer switch have been purchased; however, indications from the DEM is that there are not adequate funds to pay for the installation and construction of a site for the generator at Quest Elementary School. |
