| Project Description: |
| On May 2, 2003 Labor in Love Family Literacy Center was opened to all members of the Scott/Carver community. This educational center was established because of a strong belief and dedication to helping those individuals who are in need of a quality education. The education center was also established on a firm constitution in providing academic education, life skills training, and hands on technical computer skill training to those individuals who are unskilled and untrained in the world of work. By establishing a center of this sort, many endeavors were visualized to create, motivate, cultivate, and to empower the community with the necessary knowledge and skills to improve and enhance the quality of life for the residents of the Scott/Carver community. |
