Project Description:
The existing bridge # 114044/CR 466A over Picciola Dead River has a sufficiency rating of 50.8. The bridge was built in 1954 and is on the tangent segment of the roadway that crosses the Dead River perpendicular to the channel and provides access to Lake Griffin from the Lake Griffin State Park. The Picciola Bridge is functionally obsolete and is the last remaining bridge in Lake County set on timber piling.
