Describe, specifically, how it will reduce loadings, identify anticipated load reductions for total suspended solids, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and other contaminants, and specify the practices that will be used to reduce loadings: |
This Program includes a suite of projects that will reduce loadings in several ways: by restoration of shoreline habitats that will reduce erosion and stormwater runoff; by removing loose sediment from canals leading directly to the Bay that otherwise get re-suspended and impact Bay water quality; and by continuing efforts to monitoring water quality in the Bay, identify pollutant loading sources and develop appropriate models for water quality and benthic habitats. |
