| Project Description: |
| Instructional training and services to hundreds of Cuban medical professional refugees who meet program criteria. After achieving English language proficiency, qualified applicants will be able to seek certification in various medically related programs (Nursing, Physician Assistant, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, etc.); to seek certification as a teacher in the public school system in the science field; or to obtain preparatory assistance for the US Medical License Examination. |
