Project Description:
A 60 to 90 hour curriculum, 15 Chapter self improvement and life skills training program implemented in schools, prisons, juvenile detention faculties and community based programs.. The program has extensive experience in reducing gang related violence. In addition to teaching the Amer-I-Can curriculum, Amer-I-Can provides a valuable gang intervention component called Peace Squads designed to strengthen the grassroots infrastructure of inner-city communities.
