| Project Description: |
| This project is to construct a Central Services facility to serve the elder population of eastern Hendry County to be located in Clewiston. The project cost is projected to be $1,500,000. The project is proposed to be completed in 2010. The building will encompass approximately 7,500 square feet to accommodate a multipurpose senior center providing services including congregate meals, staging for home delivered meal service, activity areas and office space to support Older American Act services and Florida Department of Elder Affairs services to frail elder residents of Hendry County. In addition, the facility will provide eight in-patient hospice beds and office space to support Hope�s Clewiston-based hospice home care team. |
