Project Description:
This project will provide emergency shelter, food, clothing and medical care to up to 300 abused and neglected infants and children per year. Due to recent budgetary and systemic changes, the lead agencies for DCF are unable to shelter children who are at risk. As a private agency, JAFCO is willing to partner with the state to provide shelter care to at-risk children to prevent the tragic death of a child in our community.
