| This project helps bridge the large and growing "digital divide" in low-income, minority neighborhoods in Orlando. By installing new computers and learning equipment in Community center's "Homework Roomz," students who otherwise would have little or no access to such technology, will be able to utilize it to complete their schoolwork, and get one-on-one tutoring in a safe and nurturing environment within walking distance of their homes. Anticipated measurable results are improved school attendance and performance. |
