Statewide Interest: |
Pumping station cannot meet the 10-hour rule established by the EPA Consent Decree entered into by Miami-Dade County. The City of Coral Gables is consider a major volume customer by Miami-Dade County and therefore falls under the requirements of the decree. The 10-hour rule provides for no pump in the station to be on line for more than 10 hours over a 24-hour period. The project will provide for increased pumping capacity for the three existing pumps in the station and provide for planned and anticipated redevelopment over the next 20 years |
