| The City of Frostproof's drinking water system requires improvements that were documented in the City's Water System Master Plan in August of 2001. The implementation of these projects will provide needed fire protection and pressure improvements throughout the City, expand the water system to serve residents currently on wells, replace a storage tank previously damaged by hurricanes, provide FDEP required storage capacity, and upgrade plant equipment for reliability. |

| The projects planned to address the system needs are the installation of 28,000 LF of water main; Purchase and upgrade of an existing well including storage, pumps, generator and 18,000 LF of water main; Replacement and/or addition of new generators at the City's water plants and wells; and replacement of the storage tank at the main water plant. |
