| Project Description: |
| FACE is designed to offer seniors very fine entertainment. The Cultural Series will provide aesthetic awareness and sensitivity and an enhanced appreciation of Eastern European culture. FACE will offer two shows for seniors. The first is a musical concert with Yiddish, Klezmer and Chassidic music. The second event is a comedy show with Catskill style stand-up comedy. These events are offered at a very minimal fee for seniors so as to allow all seniors to enjoy these events. Transportation will also be provided. Seniors often experience feelings of loneliness, boredom, and isolation from family and a sense of life without purpose. Through FACE residents will experience a closer connection to their history, much laughter and tremendous enjoyment. |
