Project Description:
CLIC will provide assistance, mentoring and matching grant funds through the Division of Library and Information Services to rural libraries in REDI designated communities to expand their collections and services. Grant funds may provide for salaries for temporary staff, equipment, maintenance, and supplies for programs including meals and snacks. The intent of this grant is to provide for funding which is not available from other sources.

Increase in number of families being served and improvements in family literacy. Increase in participants in summer reading programs and in children's reading programs. Increases in FCAT scores in affected communities.
