Designated office, registered office, and registered agent.
Designated office, registered office, and registered agent.
—A limited partnership shall designate and continuously maintain in this state:
A designated office, which need not be a place of its activity in this state.
A registered agent for service of process upon the limited partnership and a registered office, which shall be the address of its registered agent.
A foreign limited partnership shall designate and continuously maintain in this state a registered agent for service of process and a registered office, which shall be the address of its registered agent.
A registered agent of a limited partnership or foreign limited partnership must be an individual who is a resident of this state or other person authorized to do business in this state.
