On Page: 089 This amendment provides proviso language which allows
the Department of Elder Affairs to contract with public
Spec App: 485 or private entities for any authorized demonstration
project to determine the effectiveness of comprehensive
day treatment services to seniors as provided in
Section 430.6001, Florida Statutes.

Home And Community Based Services Waiver IOEE
Immediately following Specific Appropriation 485, INSERT:
From the funds in Specific Appropriation 485, for the Home and Community
Based Services Medicaid Waiver program, and after consultation and
approval of the affected Area Agencies on Aging, the department may
contract with public or private entities for any authorized
demonstration project to demonstrate the effectiveness of comprehensive
day treatment services to seniors as provided in Section 430.6001,
Florida Statutes.
