Section:                 EXPLANATION:

On Page: 357             Provides supplemental budget authority to the
                         Department of Labor for FY 2000-2001 to transfer up to
Spec App:                $750,000 from the Workers' Compensation Trust Fund to
                         the Florida Workers' Compensation Joint Underwriting
                         Association to fulfill the requirements of section
                         440.51(14), Florida Statutes.

INSERT new section after Section 25, and renumber subsequent sections:

Pursuant to the provisions of section 440.51(14), Florida Statutes, for
the fiscal year 2000-2001, the Department of Labor and Employment
Security, Division of Workers' Compensation is authorized to transfer up
to $750,000 from the Workers' Compensation Trust Fund to the Florida
Workers' Compensation Joint Underwriting Association.  This section
shall be effective upon becoming law.  

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
